River Hongbao Show 2015

I really anticipate the annual River Hongbao show at The Float@ Marina Bay which celebrate Chinese New Year and this year, Singapore's 50 years of independence. Tomorrow,I will be going to The Float@ Marina Bay to catch the fireworks, admire the beautiful lanterns and also to eat Singapore hawker food like popiah, laksa, chicken rice and satay with my cousins. Basically, I just want to immerse in the Chinese new year festive mood and buy local magazine with goodie bags.

Special thanks to Singapore Federation of Chinese Clan Associations, Singapore Press Holdings, Singapore Chinese Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Singapore Tourism Board and People’s Association for organizing this event.

The event will start at 2.00pm tomorrow and end at 11.00pm. Last day of River Hongbao Show is on 28 February.

How to get there?
Just alight at City Hall MRT and walk to Esplanade Theatre by the Bay. It is about 5 minutes walk from Esplanade theatre.

You can try local food at River Hongbao show! I will try my favorite dishes like fried hokkien mee, satay, bbq chicken wing, char kway teow. Wow, so many dishes, must really be selective. Image from http://www.riverhongbao.sg/food-street.html
