Green Dot is Finally at Tampines 1 mall!

I'm really happy that Green Dot, a vegetarian eatery is finally at Tampines 1 mall located at basement 1. This week, Green Dot had 1 for 1 lunch promotion on 18 and 19 June at Tampines 1 mall for their grand opening. My cousin told me about this promotion and we went for dinner yesterday. 

I love their signature laksa and I think it is the best vegetarian laksa and it is better than other non-vegetarian laksa. If you love laksa, you should try Green dot laksa.

Oldie-licious at Elemen Restaurant 2024

This Friday, I finally went to Millenia Walk Elemen, a vegetarian restaurant that serve delicious vegetarian 5-course or 8-course sets. This year, you can try Peranakan dishes in Oldie-licious set from now till 30 June this year. 

I like kueh pie tee, ondeh ondeh cake with coconut ice-cream and the main course, blue pea nasi lemak with assam curry monkey head mushroom. I highly recommend this course if you like Peranakan food. 

Blue pea nasi lemak with assam curry monkey head mushroom. The rice is quite fragrant with blue pea taste.

Crispy Tofu Salad. I love this crispy tofu that was tender soft inside the crispy exterior.

Golden Ngoh Hiang was tasty with five-spice powder but I prefer it to be less salty.

Shroom ball soup

Ondeh ondeh cake with coconut ice-cream is a pretty good combination.

Vegetarian Yu Sheng at Sufood

My cousin gave me a birthday treat me at a vegetarian restaurant Sufood. We enjoyed the sumptuous vegetarian Blossom Yu Sheng which is only available during the Chinese New Year till 24 February. We also tried their new dishes like Cheesy lemon zest linguine with balsamic vinegar and Mexican veggie burrito and loved it. I think I be back for the linguine and yu sheng again.

Yummy Vegan Cakes at Greendot Plaza Singapura

This Thursday, I treated my elder cousin a vegan taro cake for her belated birthday at Green dot, a vegetarian eatery at Plaza Singapura.  We love the healthy and yummy vegan taro cake. I love that it is rich with creamy yam and it is not too sweet. I also ordered taro cake and Belgian chocolate cheesecake for takeaway. 

I'm really happy to find delicious vegan yam cake. My parents also love the taro yam cake. 

I hope Greendot will open a branch at Tampines. The nearest outlet is at Bedok Mall now. Looking forward to Greendot at Tampines.

I highly recommend this yummy taro yam cake which is not too sweet. 

I like the siew mai too. 

I love this design idea with bookshelf besides the dining white marble table. I think I have this design in my home too but I have a sliding glass panel for the bookshelf. 

New Dishes at Elemen

This week, I finally went to Elemen at Millenia Walk for 8 course set. They have just renovated the restaurant and revamped their menu. I tried their new dishes like Truffle broth ramen, churros rojak and Biscoff brownie. There are more noodle dishes which I like and will be back to try other noodles. 

I arrived at the restaurant at about 3pm so I was the only one dining there.

Breadsticks with raspberry yogurt sauce.

Wild mushroom cream soup with truffle oil is rich with mushroom bits

Staff recommended to drink this apple cider after drinking the soup.

I chose truffle broth ramen. I'll try other dishes next time. 

Iced peachy osmanthus

I had two slices of this crispy and tasty truffle pizza and took remaining back home for family. I always order truffle pizza whenever I'm at Elemen.

Biscoff Brownie  is filled with chocolate and biscoff and top with vanilla ice-cream. This is quite good.
