Too Dependent on Technology?

With the advance of technology, will it result in a decline in human intelligence? Perhaps to those who don't think of solution but just depend on technology like internet to look for answer instead of thinking might be affected. 

Recently Chatgpt is gaining popularity. However one need to take note that Chatgpt, is created by humans and humans do make mistake. Thus it is better to double check the content instead of trusting it fully.
