A Walk in the City: From Dhoby Ghaut MRT to City Hall MRT

As you know, Singapore is a food paradise where you can indulge in cheap hawker street food to pricey Michelin star restaurant. After a full dinner at a casual French restaurant with my cousin near Dhoby Ghaut MRT, we took a leisurely walk to City Hall MRT which took us about 20 minutes walk. Well we can save money and exercise. To explore the place, walking is the best option. Of course, its good to walk in the evening. Weather is just scorching hot this month. Better bring umbrella just in case it rain.
Outside Cathay, a popular movie theatre near Dhoby Ghaut MRT station.

Next to the Cathay is the School of the Arts Singapore, where talented arts students enrolled in. These students are so lucky to have their school right in the city near to Orchard Road and City Hall MRT.
Singapore Management University which focus on finance is also near Dhoby Ghaut MRT and City Hall MRT station. Sometimes I do go to SMU to attend finance talks to learn more on investment. I really enjoyed the seminars and finance talks.
As we walked further down from Dhoby Ghaut MRT to City Hall MRT, we passed by Singapore Arts Museum, formerly St Joseph Institution (secondary school for boys).
See the tallest building, that is Raffles City, my favourite shopping mall. I just love the vibe, bookshop and food there.

 Victoria Street

Esplanade theatre by the bay is also one of my favourite places in Singapore.
