Duxton Hill, Green Santuctury in Singapore

Wanna explore hidden treasure greenery sanctuary in Singapore? Duxton Hill is a quaint neighborhood which used to be occupied by mostly the Peranakans or Straits Chinese (descendants of Chinese-Malay). These conservation shophouses here have been gazetted for future generation. You can find many western restaurants be it Spanish or Russian food and independent bookstore like Littered with Books with heartwarming and inspiring decor. It is within Chinatown. Maybe you can spend a day in Chinatown to explore various street like Bukit Pasoh, Duxton Hill and Neil Road.

How to get there the cheapest way?
Just alight at Chinatown MRT or Outram Park MRT.

Rows of conservation shophouses
Littered with Books is a unique bookshop which don't allows you to take photo inside and it sell independent books that you can't really find in major bookstores. I love the decor inside though.

You can find many western restaurants and offices here.
