Happy Yuan Xiao Jie 2023

Today is the 15th day of Chinese Lunar New Year based on the Chinese calendar and end of new year celebration. It is known as Yuanxiao Jie or Chap Goh Meh. This afternoon,  we prayed to ancestors too.

My family just had steamboat and grill dinner and yusheng today. My brother brought lots of red meat. I'm not really a fan of red meat and just had prawns and chicken mainly. 

My mum also prepared Teochew dessert like orh nee yam paste and black sesame seed glutinous rice balls.
