Bird-eye View of Singapore at Pinnacle@Duxton

Located at Chinatown, the grand and majestic Pinnacle@Duxton looks like a luxurious private condominium. In fact, this is the first 50-storey public housing in Singapore.

The cheapest way to have a bird-eye view of Singapore is at premier public housing at Pinnacle@Duxton. I had the opportunity to access both skybridges at 26th and 50th storeys since my relatives are currently residing there. I always tell them that they are so lucky to live in this beautiful flats though the rooms are very small, but really the location is unbeatable. Chinatown is just a few minutes walk and you can walk to town areas like the Cityhall MRT in about 30 minutes. During National day, you can also view the fireworks if you have successfully balloted the tickets to 50th floor. When you feel like it, you can just go to the top floors at 26th or 50th floor to view Singapore enchanting night view.

Residents who are living in this beautiful flats have free access to both skybridges at 26th and 50th storeys. Whereas public need to pay only $5.00 to access 50th storey since the 26th floor is only for residents and their visitors.

At the 50th floor, you'll enjoy 360 degrees unobstructed view from Chinatown, Keppel port terminal and city view. It can be very windy at night too.

How to get there? If you are travelling by MRT, alight at Outram Park MRT station. It takes about 5 minutes walk from Outram Park or Tanjong Pagar MRT station to the Pinnacle@Duxton.

You can chit-chat with your friends and eat. Apparently some people just ignore the skybridges rules and just bring their food and drinks.
When the weather is good, you can see neighboring countries like Indonesia and Malaysia.
See the glass-paneled boxed room? That is the place where our ministers showcase the pride of public housing to foreign dignitaries.
You can date your spouse at the 26th or 50th floor and admire Singapore dazzling city night view or just lie at one of the chairs.

The port that never sleeps. Part of Keppel Port Terminal is going to make way for Circle line MRT.
