Public Transport in Singapore During COVID-19

There are now 25,346 confirmed coronavirus cases in Singapore. Circuit breaker or partial breakdown will end on 1 June this year. For the past few days, there are 600 to 800 daily new infected cases and with about 300,000 foreign workers in Singapore, it might increase to 100,000 infected cases. I wonder if foreign workers' government volunteer to chip in to fund their countrymen medical costs. Singapore is really generous compared to other countries who don't bother about the foreign workers' wellbeing.

Maybe Singapore needs to reconsider manpower employment and makes construction sector attractive to the locals.

During the circuit breaker, I will stay at home most of the time except on the day of grocery and foodie shopping. In public transport, there are not many people travelling now thus its easier to implement social distancing. There are stickers label on the seats and floor to guide commuters. It is also now compulsory to wear masks if you are outside and you have to pay $300 fine if you don't wear mask outside.

Now with the circuit breaker or partial locker when non-essential businesses are closed, the public transports like MRT and buses are quite empty in the afternoon.
Downtown City Hall MRT is eerily quiet.

Social distancing in public buses. No one should sit on the seat with label.
