Steamboat Buffet and Singing at Xi Long Hotpot Buffet & Family KTV
Recently, my buddy took me to a great place for steamboat buffet which is a great find as it is so affordable and value for money. For just $32 per person, you can enjoy hotpot buffet and also 3 hours of singing!
This great restaurant is at Xi Long Hotpot & Family KTV restaurant which is in a mall besides Haw Par Villa (We went there after a trip to Haw Par Villa. I'll blog about it.)
Though there are some dishes that require additional charges, in my opinion with the abundance of dishes available, we did not order any extra dishes. We went at about 4.50pm and there were not many people at the restaurant. So we had an enjoyable dinner till about 6pm.
After dinner, we headed straight to their KTV for singing. I'm really impressed with their sound system and selection of songs. We think their sound system is so much better than Kbox, one of Singapore most established and popular karaoke chain. We had a great time singing at this awesome hotpot cum karaoke that we sang from 6pm to about 11.30pm. Actually, the time designated for singing is 3 hours, but as there were not many customers, the staff did not chase us until 11.30pm.
I highly recommend this great place for friends or family gathering. We spent about 7 hours there eating and singing. Its really value for money at $32 for both steamboat buffet and singing.

Just alight at Haw Par Villa MRT station
All You Can Eat steamboat buffet. There are about five different vegetables, two types of noodles namely instant mee or udon in the fridge and eggs.
You can take chicken, pork ball, clam, fish, pork, fishball, clams and hotdog from this fridge.
We had Sichuan spicy and tomato sauce. I don't really like the tomato sauce. Luckily the staff allowed us to change to tom yum soup. Mala soup is quite good.
We really enjoyed the delicious fried mantou and prawn and chili sauce. Best to dip the fried mantou to this tasty chili sauce.
Their sound system is really good. Better than Kbox and it is easy to search for the songs that we want. They have many great songs to choose from. We had great time singing that we forgot the time and sang from 6pm to 11.30pm.

This mall is just besides Haw Par Villa, and is just next to Haw Par Villa MRT.
You can mix and match your own condiments with sesame sauce, garlic, chili.
Beancurd, tanghoon. I'm not so sure what are the others.
We arrived at about 4.50pm so there were not many people.

We also had crab which I find it very fresh and tasty!
We also had thin pork slices which my buddy taught me to just put in the pork for few seconds and it will be ready.
Sauces that I took.
Egg and instant noodles are also available.
Chicken feets and pig trotters.
Squid, chicken feet and chicken.
My dinner. I had pork, fish and lobster balls.
This fried dumpling is also not bad. But we were too full to eat more.
Additional charge for some food like fried chicken wings as shown. We did not order extra dishes that require additional payment.
