When you are in Singapore, one of the food you must try is Hainanese chicken rice! Hainanese is one of the Chinese dialect group who are famous for their chicken rice.The rice itself is fragrant as it was cooked in chicken stock and sometimes pandan leave. You can choose roast or steamed tender chicken drizzled with sesame oil or special sauce or chili prepare by the hawker seller. My brother brought the Hainanese chicken rice for six of us, with a whole roast chicken, omelette and sweet and sour fish to share at home. Yummy!
