Peach Garden Noodles House at Gardens by the Bay

If I want to enjoy a plate of delicious springy noodle, I will go to Peach Garden Noodle House at Super Tree Dining Gardens by the Bay. It offers the best noodle at an affordable price (less than $10.00) in restaurants in town. It also offers a wide range of traditional and cute dim sum.

I love the Peach Garden Noodles House at Gardens by the Bay. After touring the garden, I will have my meal at Peach Garden for a plate of hot noodles and dim sums.

Inside Marina Bay Sands Grand Theatre

Ever wonder what the Marina Bay Sands Theatre look like? I think it really look like New York  Solomon R. Guggenheim Museum. Two years ago, I went to watch Jersey Boys musical. I have not step into the theatre since the last musical Wicked.
The exterior of the Grand Theatre really resemble New York Solomon R. Guggenheim Museum

One of my favourite musicals is Jersey Boys!
Glad that I went to New York to watch Jarrod Spector who is a great singer and performer. Broadway stars are just so talented.

Paradise Dynasty Restaurant

If you want to try colourful xiaolongbao which comes in different flavours, then Paradise Dynasty restaurant at Ion Orchard shopping mall is the place to go. My friend and I went to Paradise Inn as we wanted to try their unique xiaolongbao. However other dishes like their fried rice is not bad too. I didn't try all the xiaolongbao as I shared with my friend. Maybe next time I should order one basket for myself.

Esplanade Visual Arts: Devotion (in Singapore)

From now till 4 May, you can view free Visual Arts exhibition at the walkway from the Esplanade to Citylink mall.

Devotion (in Singapore) is a photography exhibition of the different religions in Singapore. Although Singapore is ranked lowly in terms of press freedom, there is racial and religious harmony in Singapore. It is quite common to see temple, mosque or even church standing next to each others. The photos exhibited at Esplanade are all captured in Singapore by Eneko Ertz.

Spring in Singapore

After a record dry spell of 27 days, flowers are blooming in Singapore. I've been living here for the past three decades but I never seem anything like now. It looks so beautiful like it is spring. Well metaphorically speaking, it looks like spring since Singapore is a tropical country with summer all year long and occasional rain.

From afar, it looks like cherry blossom. Maybe after a tough season, flowers will bloom to their glorious moment.
Can you see the two small bees?
I saw this beautiful tree with pink flowers blooming in Sentosa, outside Universal Studios.

Topdown View of Singapore Tampines HDB Flats

Based on Singapore Statistic, about 80% Singaporeans are residing in public Housing commonly known as Housing Development Board (HDB) flats. I have been living in Tampines town for the past 32 years in a HDB flat. My parents purchased the 5-room flat (actually there are four bedrooms) in the 1980s at about $80,000.00 only. However, with interest rates, it cost higher.  I prefer the older flats as it is more spacious compared to the latest HDB flats launched by the government. Tampines town is the largest residential area in Singapore and there are three shopping malls like Tampines Mall, Tampines1 and Century Square.

This town is name after a 'large forest or ironwood tress' known as Tempini.

SingaPlural: 30 LifeStories-Remembering Parks

On my way to dinner, I passed by design exhibition at the part outside Dhoby Ghaut MRT station. Some design concepts are impressive like the Spectrum that invite visitors to immerse themselves in the colourful spectrum of rainbow string. This exhibition was held during Singapore Design Week from 12 Mar to 16 Mar in Celebrating Design 2014.
