As you all know, blogging is one of my hobbies. I'm also trying to earn money from my hobbies. Alas, I don't make much from blogging unlike others who can earn thousands of dollars per month. For me, I only earn few dollars per month which is my kopi money. In the past, I earn much more when earning is based on USD dollars. But after they change to Sing dollars, I earn lesser which can be quite demoralizing. It makes me rethink if I should continue to blog sometimes.
So how to earn money, you need to add adsense advertisement. How much you earn depends on the number of readers you have and advertisement clicks on the blog. Take note, you cannot cheat by clicking the advertisement on your own blog. You can be banned if you cheat. The only thing I look forward to at the end of each day is monitoring where are my readers from.

Marina Bay Sands
This Thursday, I went to view Escher's World of Wonder exhibition held at ArtScience Musuem. From ArtScience Museum, I decided to exercise by walking from the museum to The City Hall MRT which takes about 15 to 20 minutes walk. While walking, I can also enjoy the beautiful city skyline of Singapore.
Took this view of beautiful Marina Bay Sands, Helix Bridge and ArtScience Museum this Thursday when I went to Escher's World of Wonder exhibition.

My Next Travel Plan?
Alright after traveling to Melbourne this December, I'm going to Hong Kong in next year March! Wow Singapore Airlines ticket to Hong Kong is really cheap! I paid a total of $290.70 today! Of course I booked before the school holiday else it be expensive!
Don't know why. For the past few years, I feel the desire to travel.
This will be my first trip to Hong Kong. Again, I be traveling solo to Hong Kong. I plan to go hiking, maybe I sign up in one of the hiking group and visit Disneyland.

Singapore MacDonald Breakfast
I love Singapore Macdonald Breakfast Deluxe which comprises of 2 pancake, scrambled egg, chicken sausage, 1 hash brown, and muffin. I realised not every country offer breakfast deluxe. In Australia, there is no breakfast deluxe and sausage option is only beef.
I also love Macdonald hash brown so I always order extra hash brown to complete my breakfast!

Cleaning my Bookshelves & Discovering Wonders
Time flies so fast. Its the last month of 2016 and next month, we'll be heralding Chinese New Year in end of January and 2017 in a few weeks time.
Since I'm so free at home, today I decided to clean my bookshelves and organize it according to genres preferably. Wow just cleaning and tidying up 2 rows of bookshelves took me a few hours. Well, this is because I also took some time to browse through some of the books and deciding whether to recycle or give to others.
Frankly speaking, cleaning my bedroom and bookshelves can be very therapeutic. In the process of clearing my bookshelves, I found many 'treasures' like beautiful bookmarks, magazines that I forgot about it. I'm thankful I have so many wonderful books and things. Its like counting my blessing.
So hey if you are free, do take time to clean and organize your room or bookshelves. Sometimes you might find that you have so many things after shelving them in a corner for so long. Hmm, I think I also better stop buying new books and make sure I finish reading the books I brought first.
Wow, really delighted to find Fortune magazine with Warren Buffett on cover. I'm going to reread later.
Organising my exercise A4 books. I have so many that I really should stop buying new.
Mr Lee Kuan Yew is my idol so I brought a lot of his books. I already finished reading One Man's View of the World. Going to start My Lifelong Challenge.
I have so many stationery that I should really stop buying more.

Enchanting Christmas Lighting in Sunny Singapore 2016
One of my favourite activities in Singapore is walking along buzzy 2.88km Orchard Road during Christmas season to see enchanting and glittering Christmas lighting.
I love this year Christmas decoration with sparkling blue white theme with geometrical deers along our busy Orchard street. Normally on Christmas eve and Christmas day, Orchard Road street will be packed full of people. For me, I will avoid the crowd and only visit Orchard Road on weekday when there are not many people.
The light-up will end on 2 Jan next year.

I love Ion Shopping mall futuristic Christmas decoration.
Somehow I feel Wheelock place is not the same without Borders bookshop. I rarely go there now.

Da Paolo Gastronomia at Raffles City
I read about Da Paolo Gastronomia in local newspapers. It's a popular Italian restaurant famous for their pasta in Singapore. Thus I was excited when I saw Da Paolo Gastronomia is coming to Raffles City, my favourite shopping mall!
So yesterday I went to Da Paolo to try their pasta as I love pasta and I read of their delicious Banana Toffee tart though I don't really like to eat banana. Wow, though I don't like banana, I really like their Banana Toffee tart with rich creamy toffee on really hard tart. Really need to exert a lot of effort to break the tart.
I think the pasta is quite a disappointment. I chose spaghetti and carbonara sauce expecting to see an egg on top( normally there is a egg on top of pasta) but I was told it was mixed already. I expect the pasta to be al dente but it was not. I saw another person enjoying al dente looking pasta with pesto sauce. Maybe next time I try pesto sauce with hand-made pasta.
I saw a pretty lady who looks familiar. Then I remembered, she was featured on the Straits Times before with her father and brother. She was serving guests and instructing her staff. Quite a nice lady.
Eating at Da Paolo Gastronomomia is not cheap. I spent a total of $36.05 for a cup of mint mocha ($6.50), banana toffee tart ($8.00) and Cabonara ($16.80) and additional sauteed mixed mushroom ($4.75) ,7% GST and 10% service charge.
Nearest MRT: City Hall MRT

Qantas Flight to Melbourne
Hi, I just updated my travel blog on Qantas Flight to Melbourne. To read more, click here
Singapore Changi Airport Terminal 1 Departure Hall
I'm back to Singapore this week. Wow, felt tired after the 8 hours flight and there is 3-hour time difference. But now I feel better. Anyway, I'll just share some attractions in one of the world best airport, Singapore Changi Airport.
There are many attractive figurine sculptures for photo-taking opportunities. At Departure Hall Terminal 1, you get to pose with gigantic popular Pikachu cartoon. There is also a big beautiful organic sculpture.
Visitors also get to enjoy free snack, kacang puteh for visitors. Kacang puteh is actually a mixture of nuts in cone shaped packaging. I used to buy it when I watched movies. Besides enjoying free snack, I also shopped in the duty free shops to purchase MP3 player, SD card and also magazine which are much cheaper in the airport.
Hmm, I love travel. My next trip will be to Hong Kong to explore Disneyland!
