I like to stay at home so I try to arrange as many outdoor activities that I need to complete in a day. I'm quite happy that this Monday is quite productive as I done three things. Firstly, I planted two trees in the morning at Bedok South, after which I went to IKEA Tampines to buy some seat cushions and photo frames. In the evening, I met my elder cousin for the sky ride at Sentosa but sadly in the end we didn't go as she had stomachache. In the end we just walked to Sentosa and went back to Vivocity mall for dinner. Anyway she has postponed the skyride to later date.
After lunch at IKEA, I explored the gigantic Ikea looking for things I need to buy and also looking out for furniture I need when I have a new home. I like solid wood Acacia table which can serves as study desk and also dining table. There are also beautiful bamboo bowls that I plan to buy and also kitchen cabinet. It is rather therapeutic to explore beautiful furniture. I have a good idea of what I want for my new home. Hopefully I can get the 2-room BTO flat soon. Yesterday, for the second time, I received news that I didn't get the 2-room BTO flat again. 😔Never mind, maybe I don't have affinity with that flat. I will get better home. I just have to apply again.
Really cheerful and cute design. Really tempted to buy but I controlled myself.
I brought this pink photo frame for this art I brought in New York in 2011. I love the bright cheerful colour and the Art Decor skyscraper Empire State building in New York Midtown Manhattan.
I had salmon shepherd's pie which I enjoyed it very much.
Love the light pastel colour scheme.
I will have maybe four or five bookshelves in my new home.
This can be my reading chair. It is priced at $399.00. I wonder how much it cost in three years time.
Nice bamboo bowl ($15.90)
Really beautiful solid wood Acacia table.
Found the cushion seats I need.
Took the free shuttle bus from Bedok bus interchange to Ikea Tampines. There were only a few people on this Monday morning, 14 March 2022.
