Newborn Baby!

Today I went to hospital to visit a relative. In the hospital lift, I was delighted to see a nurse pushing a newborn baby inside a small transparent box on a trolley towards me. I was curious and so peered to look at the baby inside the box.

The baby is so small and its the first time I saw a newborn baby! The baby's father and grandmother who were with the baby looked so happy. Actually, I had been dreaming of cute babies for the past few years. Anyway, I enjoy my freedom now and if I'm destined to have kids, I'll have them. Babies are cute to look at but they also will cry and parents really need to spend time with them to nurture them. I wish the newborn baby I met today has a bright and happy future! Out of 7 billion people in this world, its affinity that lead me to see the newborn baby.

I had craving for chocolate cake by awfully chocolate. But today my youngest brother baked  delicious chocolate cake topped with creamy rich chocolate. Recently, he also baked apple pie and it was fantastics. I'm not a fan of apple pie, but I like the apple pie baked by my brother. I think my youngest brother is really a talented baker.

Pasta at Da Paolo Gastronomia

I love pasta but sadly there are not many restaurants that serve good pasta in Singapore. Think I have to learn how to cook pasta. So far I only know how to cook pasta mix with mayonnaise sauce and some canned fruit like chopped pineapple and cherry. If I can't finish, I can put in the fridge and eat when I'm hungry.

Anyway, as I always go to Raffles City shopping mall to read books and magazines, whenever I want to eat pasta, I will just go to Da Paolo Gastronomia. The pasta is not cheap. A plate of spaghetti with mushroom only already cost $16.80 (this is not including GST yet). At Da Paolo, I like penne pasta with mushroom in creamy sauce. Depending on the chefs, sometimes the portion size is big.

For dessert, I highly recommend banana toffee. Mind you I don't like to eat banana. But this banana toffee is simply delicious. Its one dessert I like.
I like penne pasta al fungi. Costs about $16.80.

The tiramisu here is not recommended. Poulet restaurant at Kallang wave shopping mall serve better tiramisu.
